Mokolumne Watershed Project

This is Carol Oz. She volunteers for the mokolumne watershed project. She checks the PH of the middle fork seasonally, and cleans up trash along the river. I feel that the river is a very important part of the community, and that we should do all we can to preserve it and keep it healthy.

Some day I would like to take you to a small stream called Hunter Creek. It is a tributary to Forest Creek. Hunter has magic.

It is great that you are identifying one of the individuals that are so passionate about the upkeep of our surroundings and homes. I have been to so many rivers throughout California that are beautiful and peaceful, and then come across trash and it really upsets me. I pick up the trash that I see but I feel like it is a loss cause because it is so much easier for people to throw trash on the ground than to pick it up or save it for a trash can.
